Many years ago I trained as a Recreation Therapist and worked with people needing emotional support to reconnect with activities they love as a path of healing. Recreation, leisure and play are essential for our health and well being. It’s important for all of us, at any age!
What do you do to unwind? What brings you a sense of joy and satisfaction? Do you engage regularly in activities that have meaning while providing a sense of relaxation and well-being?
In our fast paced lifestyles we easily get caught up in all sorts of to-do lists, seemingly never ending sometimes! I'll often be asking you what you do to 're-create' yourself and I'll be an advocate for making time to do the things you love to do!

Anxiety can be so unpleasant, especially for kids. Finding our way in the world and having enough time and inspiration to play and relax can be challenging at best and at other times, completing overwhelming.
